A Mother's Day tea May 14 at the Wesley Chamberlin Mansion drew moms, daughters, other relatives and friends to celebrate the holiday with a luncheon, entertainment and shared memories. Denice Geinapp, director of WesleyLife Adult Day Services, opened the program by welcoming guests. Guest soloist Lisa Cole sang "I Hope You Dance" and "Mother," and the blessing of the high tea was given by participant Shelia Wright.
The high tea was served with a tray that included chicken Waldorf salad, chilled blueberry soup, mini-cherry walnut and mini-lemon blueberry muffins.Prizes were donated by Boesen the Florist on Ingersoll, Bauder's Ice Cream, Bruegger's Bagels, Dahl's on Ingersoll, Great Harvest Bread Co., Mary Kay Cosmetics by Trisha Turniff, Sherry Davidson, Chocolaterie Stam and WesleyLife Adult Day Services.
