G. Rio Higher Secondary School celebrated parent’s day October 30. On the occasion various programmes were held in honour of parents. A press release received here said that the school authorities acknowledged the parents for extending cooperation and support to the school and sought such support in the future too. Parents also expressed their gratitude to the school authorities and the teachers for their best efforts towards providing better education and co-curriculum activities to the students though the school is in nascent stage. Parents also urged for opening of science stream in the coming years so as to take the students of the School to a higher level of education. On the occasion songs, drama, folk dances, guitar and piano recitals etc were displayed to the parents.
