With the view to promote understanding, love and sacrifice, the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima held the parent’s day with programmes performed by the students. The programme started with Bible reading and prayer followed by welcome song by class 10 students.

Fr. Dennis, principal of the school welcomed and thanked the parents for their cooperation and putting trust in the school and in the teachers. Keneingu Rutsa who spoke on behalf of the parents thanked the school principal and the teachers for their tireless effort in educating and bringing about a great change in their children. “As a parent, we must try our best to see their discipline and studies. Our responsibility to the children is greater than teachers,” he said. The programme came to an end with vote of thanks from Bharat Prasad which was followed by school anthem.
